C&C Industrial Roofing was commissioned to carry out a comprehensive exterior upgrade at a Lidl retail unit, delivering a sleek, durable, and weatherproof roofline and canopy structure that both enhances the building’s appearance and improves its functional performance.

Canopy Roof Installation

A new canopy roof was designed and installed to provide sheltered walkways and enhanced customer protection from the elements.
The structure was engineered to integrate seamlessly with the existing façade, maintaining a clean visual transition.
Materials were selected for longevity and resistance to corrosion, ensuring minimal maintenance over time.

Aluminium Gutters & Rainwater Management

High-capacity aluminium gutters were fitted along the canopy and roof edges to efficiently collect and channel rainwater.
Downpipes and drainage routes were carefully integrated to prevent water ingress and avoid overloading any section of the roof or walls.
Joints and fixings were sealed to achieve a watertight system, safeguarding the building envelope.

Soffits, Fascia & Capping

Aluminium soffits and fascia panels were installed around the perimeter to create a crisp, uniform roofline.
These elements also conceal roof structural components and offer ventilation where needed to prevent condensation.
Edge capping was incorporated as a finishing detail, giving a neat, durable edge protection and hiding any exposed flashing or trim work.

Coordination & Finish Quality

All components (canopy, gutters, soffits, fascia, capping) were coordinated in matching colour schemes and material finishes to deliver a cohesive aesthetic.
Meticulous attention was paid to alignment, sealing, and detailing to ensure that no water could penetrate behind the façade or canopy.
The installation was inspected under various weather conditions to verify that drainage was optimal and that all seams remained secure.
