C&C Industrial Roofing was commissioned to carry out a comprehensive exterior upgrade at a Lidl retail unit, delivering a sleek, durable, and weatherproof roofline and canopy structure that both enhances the building’s appearance and improves its functional performance.

Canopy Roof Installation

• A new canopy roof was designed and installed to provide sheltered walkways and enhanced customer protection from the elements.
• The structure was engineered to integrate seamlessly with the existing façade, maintaining a clean visual transition.
• Materials were selected for longevity and resistance to corrosion, ensuring minimal maintenance over time.

Aluminium Gutters & Rainwater Management

• High-capacity aluminium gutters were fitted along the canopy and roof edges to efficiently collect and channel rainwater.
• Downpipes and drainage routes were carefully integrated to prevent water ingress and avoid overloading any section of the roof or walls.
• Joints and fixings were sealed to achieve a watertight system, safeguarding the building envelope.

Soffits, Fascia & Capping

• Aluminium soffits and fascia panels were installed around the perimeter to create a crisp, uniform roofline.
• These elements also conceal roof structural components and offer ventilation where needed to prevent condensation.
• Edge capping was incorporated as a finishing detail, giving a neat, durable edge protection and hiding any exposed flashing or trim work.

Coordination & Finish Quality

• All components (canopy, gutters, soffits, fascia, capping) were coordinated in matching colour schemes and material finishes to deliver a cohesive aesthetic.
• Meticulous attention was paid to alignment, sealing, and detailing to ensure that no water could penetrate behind the façade or canopy.
• The installation was inspected under various weather conditions to verify that drainage was optimal and that all seams remained secure.

C&C Industrial Roofing were instructed to carry out refurbishment works involving the removal of aged single skin cladding and the installation of new profiled single skin sheeting.

• Cladding Replacement - Existing worn cladding was carefully stripped back and replaced with new, durable single skin profiled sheets. This provided the building with an immediate uplift in appearance as well as improved weather protection.

• Verge Flashings - New verge flashings were installed to ensure a neat and watertight finish to the roof edges.

• Roller Door Flashings - Custom flashings were fabricated and fitted around the roller shutter openings, ensuring both functionality and a clean, professional finish.

• Personnel Door Flashings - New flashings were also installed around personnel doors, offering additional protection against water ingress while completing the overall façade upgrade.

This project has delivered a fresh, modern look to the building envelope while also improving durability and weather resistance. Attention to detail on all flashing works ensures the system is both practical and visually consistent.

C&C Industrial Roofing were appointed to support a barn conversion project, providing a complete roof upgrade to meet modern standards of safety, insulation, and appearance.

The works began with the careful removal and disposal of the existing asbestos cement roof sheets, carried out in strict compliance with health and safety regulations. This ensured the safe handling of hazardous materials and the protection of both site workers and the surrounding environment.

Once cleared, the roof was re-sheeted using 120 mm composite panels, offering excellent thermal performance, improved airtightness, and a sleek external finish. These panels not only enhance the energy efficiency of the building but also provide a clean, modern aesthetic suitable for the new use of the property.

The transformation has given the barn a durable, insulated roof system that will serve reliably for decades to come, while also aligning with current building regulation standards.

C&C Industrial Roofing were engaged by MC Trucks to carry out a full overclad system installation, providing the business with a cost-effective roof upgrade while minimising disruption to operations.

The team carefully prepared the existing roof structure before fixing the new overclad system directly over the original coverings. A spacer bar and bracket system was installed to create the required void for insulation and to provide a secure fixing platform for the new roof sheets. This method allowed work to progress quickly and efficiently without the need for a full strip-and-replace, reducing downtime for the client. Insulation layers were incorporated within the build-up to significantly improve the building’s thermal performance, while strict safety measures were maintained at all times.

Once complete, the building benefited from a modernised roof system with improved weatherproofing, insulation, and aesthetics. The crisp new roof covering not only delivers long-term durability but also enhances the overall appearance of the MC Trucks facility.

This project demonstrates the advantages of overcladding, providing a high-quality, sustainable solution that extends the life of the roof while offering immediate visual and performance improvements.

C&C Industrial Roofing were appointed to carry out a strip and resheet project at a Waitrose building, upgrading the external envelope with new single skin profiled sheeting.

The existing cladding had become dated and weathered, no longer providing the clean, professional appearance or level of protection required for a high-profile retail site.

Our team fully stripped back the old sheeting and replaced it with new single skin profiled sheets, installed with precision to achieve a crisp, watertight, and durable finish. The works included all necessary flashings and detailing to complete the system, giving the building a fresh, modern look that reflects the Waitrose brand.

This transformation not only enhances the visual appeal of the property but also ensures improved performance and long-term resilience.
